So Strong and Courageous—The Masses Think You’re Crazy……

Friends, before we get off into this discussion let me start by saying that everything is not for everyone. This is an “exclusive” blog that was designed to encourage, motivate and inspire the “dream chasers” of the world. So if you are not a dream chaser, please feel free to exit the page now, because what I am about to say next will scare the hell out of you! And no worries, I will write something “extra” special for you the next time!

Now to business, for the “Dream Chasers”. When you have a vision, a calling on your life or a passion in your heart and you don’t fulfill it, you will NEVER have peace until you submit to your purpose. That’s pretty scary! In the event that went over your head, let’s break it down into small chunks. If you have a dream, goal or purpose and you don’t go after it to pursue it, you will be unsettled here on this earth…which means, my friend, will have NO peace. Whoa, now that’s deep! Why is it deep? I’m so glad you asked! Friends, your vision, your God given purpose, or your passion will continue to tug at you until you submit to it. #AnswerTheCalling

Friends, can we talk? I mean really talk? There are some of you walking around with a plethora of dreams tucked away under your heart but you are too afraid to pursue them. I understand….dream chasing is not for everyone. It’s hard and it’s not for the faint at heart. Personally, I thought about dream chasing for over 30 years before I actually did it. So don’t get me wrong, dream chasing is not for the masses and once you decide to pursue your dreams, the masses will actually think you are crazy. Why? Because you will be doing what the masses really wants to do deep down inside. But fear and lack of courage in the masses will cause them to rationalize that  you must be crazy to do what they are afraid to do! Friends, and that’s OK, they can think you are crazy. Crazy with courage! HA!

Being courageous is a good thing because nothing beats a failure but a try. If you don’t try, where does that leave you? I would prefer to try and fail rather than not try at all by being paralyzed with fear. Once you try and it doesn’t work, at least you can say, “hey, I tried and it didn’t work!” But does that mean you failed, absolutely NOT!

It means you took a chance and you now know what doesn’t work….so you do what? You try again. And, once you try again, so long as you NEVER give up, failure is impossible. You will find yourself in a process of learning what does and doesn’t work and if you don’t give up, you will keep trying until you achieve success! Trying looks something like this, try, fall, try again, fall, try again, fall….but each time you get back up, it’s not failure. Failure only enters into the “success” equation when you fall down and you refuse to get back up. Giving up is NOT an option!

You don’t believe that this works, please allow me to prove it. I’m not a huge sports fan but I can recall stories about Michael Jordan in his high-school career and how he was rejected by his Coach. Imagine that, Michael Jordan rejected on the basketball ball court…yes, it happened, and it will probably happen to you too. We get rejected all the time but we can’t give up! When we are dream chasing we must push through all obstacles and barriers as though they do not exist. Just stop for a moment and imagine if Michael Jordan had stopped pushing forward because he was rejected. Michael Jordan believed that he could fly regardless of what others believed and friends, guess what he did fly! #AirJordan

The moral of the story is that you must be bold and courageous with great strength when you are pursing your dreams. It’s NOT for everyone but if dream chasing is for you, on your mark, get set, and GO! Don’t look back, don’t look down, just full speed ahead and move forward until the dream is achieved!

Ask yourself are you committed to the “dream” by being bold and courageous enough to see it through?
